"Nothing is known with certainty in regard to the English antecedents of Thomas Waite, but he may be identical with Thomas, sixth son of Samuel and Mary (Ward) Waite of Wethersfield, co. Essex, England, who were the progenitors of the Waites of Malden, Mass. (Cf., NEHGR, vol. 32, p. 188). The recurrence of the same Christian names in both families tends to confirm this view."^[9]

She married in Montgomery Co., on 29 Dec. 1804, (RV-12) NICHOLAS GOETSCHIUS, son of (RV-8) Johannes Mauritius and (NH-9) Catrina (Trintie) (KIP) GOETSCHIUS, who was born on 11 April 1783 in Montgomery Co., and died on 20 Dec. 1860 in Green Spring^[1].
