2. CARRIE EVELYN² SMITH (Ernest L.¹), daughter of (1) Ernest L.¹ and (XU-18) Laura J. (KENISTON) SMITH, was born on 19 June 1896^[3] in Fruitport^[3], and died in 1968^[2] in Coopersville^[2]. She married in Owosso, on 11 June 1921, (ACG-1) HAROLD ALGER MCBRIDE, who was born on 23 June 1896 in Duluth, died on 13 June 1946, and was buried in Fruitport Cemetery, Fruitport.
