"Magna Charta Barons and their Descendants" also shows mother as Maud de Grey, dau. John Grey and Anne de Ferrers.

However, Maud de Grey appears to have been born too early to be their mother, and so is probably not the correct mother.^{[3, 18, 5, 6, 14]}
