He married (VR-11) MARGARET LLEWELLYN Of Caernarvon, daughter of (VR-5) Llewelyn ap, Prince of North Wales and (RH-24) Princess Joan (of WALES), who was born about 1210, died after 1263 in Clifford Castle, Herefordshire, and was buried in Priory Church, Aconbury, Herefordshire. ^{[1, 2]}

ALINE⁵ DE BRAOSE (William⁴, William BRAOS³, John de BRAOSE², William BRAOS¹) of Gower, daughter of (4) William⁴ and Elizabeth (SULLY) DE BRAOS, was born about 1305, and died between 1 Jan. 1298 and 30 July 1331. She married in 1298, (MQ-8) JOHN DE MOWBRAY, 2ND BARON MOWBRAY, son of (MQ-7) Roger, 1st Baron Mowbray and (O-28) Roese (de CLARE), who was born on 4 Sept. 1286 in Chamb, and died on 23 March 1321/2. ^[4]
