He married (1st) in Swansea, on 22 Nov. 1733, (TU-22) HANNAH HALE, daughter of (TU-10) John and (AOY-21) Hannah (TILLINGHAST) HAILE, who was born on 17 Sept. 1716 in Swansea, and died on 15 Dec. 1791. He married (2nd) on 4 Sept. 1766, JUDITH PEIRCE, who was born about 1713.
