Generation Five

40. ISAIAH (OR "JOSIAH")5 FULLER (Shubael4, David3, Jonathan2, Robert1), son of (23) Shubael4 and (AJX-13) Sarah (SCOTT) FULLER, was born about 1735[5], and died on 15 Oct. 1825 in Montague[4]. He married SARAH _____, who was born about 1732[3], and died on 1 May 1808 in Montague[3].
Isaiah is shown here as probable son of Shubael Fuller since:
1) The other Fullers in Sunderland/Montague are descendants of Shubael and there are no other nearby possibilities,
2) Shubael's children listed have a gap where Isaiah would be born,
3) Shubael had a half-brother named Josiah, so it was a family name, and
4) Shubael's mother was Mary, and Isaiah's first(?) daughter was Mary

Based on the above collection of circumstantial evidence, and lack of any other possibilities, we conclude that this connection is probable.
Isaiah Fuller of Franklin County, Massachusetts is listed in "A List of Pensioners in the state of Massachusetts" under "Statement of Revolutionary Pensioners Under The Act Of the 18th Of March, 1818".[8]
In the 1798 Direct Tax of Massachusetts, Asa Fuller and Isaiah fuller are listed as occupants.[9]
