Issue Version 2.0 Beta
What is it?
Issue is a freeware genealogy program. Issue specializes in generating
web site pages in the well-known "Register" format, such that each the page for
each family is linked to other related families. It also supports merging
of GEDCOM files in a way that helps avoid losing important information.
New Features in Issue 2.0
- Normalize your place database using the place inforamation maintained as part of FamilySearch
- Use your login and password obtained from new.familysearch.org to search FamilySearch information from within Issue.
- Default GEDCOM and HTML output directory is now part of the users directory
- Multimedia images linked to an individual now appear in ancestry and decendancy report
- Notes can now be reordered
- Dates are displayed for children and spouses when you are have the option to select and child or spouse
- Delete multiple individuals at the same time by creating a subset of individuals to delete
- Birthday list is now printable
Bug Fixes Issue 2.0
- Normalize your place database using the place inforamation maintained as part of FamilySearch
- Field width of date on the Individual screen increased so it doesn't crop dates
- Database report no longer crashes when you attempt to print with an empty database
- Locations marked as hidden in the place database, now print on reports instead of leaving unknow locations in the report.
- Timeline reports now show BET and AFT on dates as appropriate
- Fixed several problems in Anomaly finder.
- Fixed several bugs causing Issue to crash.
- GENDEX websearch removed.
- Web browser is no longer launched when there is no one to view in a report.
- When merging sources, now prompted to choose which source title and other unique information to store.

How can I help test the Beta release?
- DOWNLOAD Issue 2.0 Beta
for XP/Vista (approx. 2 MB)
- Run setup.exe
- Run Issue.msi
- If prompted to install Visual C++ libraries, install them.
- If prompted to allow the program to run, click allow.
- Follow the instructions in the setup program to finish installation.
- If prompted to allow the program to run, click allow.
